1916 Alabama State Fair

The 1916 Alabama State Fair was a State Fair held in October 514, 1916 at the Alabama State Fairgrounds. The fair included displays of livestock, produce and other farm and industrial products brought from various county fairs and Chambers of Commerce.

The fair's attractions were listed as "horse racing, gorgeous fireworks, bigger and better agricultural, live stock and poultry exhibits, free band concerts by Memoli's Band every afternoon and evening, the Royal Hippodrome shows free every afternoon and evening in front of the grandstand, and the big midway direct from the world's largest fairs."
