1941 Alabama State Fair

The 1941 Alabama State Fair was a State Fair held in September 29October 4, 1941 at the Alabama State Fairgrounds. In addition to livestock and educational exhibits, the fair featured an extensive exhibition of military equipment, including miniatures of the entire U. S. Navy fleet and examples of materiel being produced in Alabama for World War II.

Automobile races were held at the Birmingham International Raceway on Thursday and Saturday, with "Thrill Day" daredevils holding court on Tuesday and Friday. Wednesday was observed as "Governor's Day" with an official visit from Governor Frank M. Dixon. Over $30,000 in prizes was awarded to livestock, produce, cooking and craft exhibitors. Royal American Shows managed the midway and amusements.
