2014 Iron Bowl

The 2014 Iron Bowl took place on Saturday November 29, 2014 at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa. The top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide defeated the 15th-place Auburn Tigers by a score of 55-44. Attendance was recorded at 101,821.

It was the 79th contest in the series. Their win gave Alabama an 43-35-1 advantage. The game was Alabama coach Nick Saban's eigth Iron Bowl (5-3), and Auburn coach Gus Malzahn's second as head coach (1-1). Alabama came into the game with a 10-1 record, while Auburn was 8-3.

The win propelled Alabama into the SEC Championship game as the Southeastern Conference's Western Division champion.
