400 Industrial Drive

400 Industrial Drive is a a 1,311,295 square-foot warehouse and distribution center originally constructed in 1985 for the Bruno's supermarket chain. It is located at 400 Industrial Drive off of Lakeshore Parkway in Birmingham's Oxmoor neighborhood.

The facility includes 780,000 square feet of dry warehouse space with 32'-35' roof height and 214 loading doors. It also 230,000 square feet of cooler space and 185,000 square feet of freezer space. Additions to the building were made up until 1991 and it was re-roofed in 2001. A 44,979 square-foot adjoining facility area provides space for truck repairs and washing, as well as a cross-dock and reclaim functions.

The facility is served by CSX Transportation railroad via a dedicated spur, and has close access to I-65 and I-20. The property was acquired by Real Capital Solutions of Louisville, Colorado in 2019 for $45 million.

The Buffalo Rock Company purchased 895,000 square feet of warehouse space, including the adjoining office building at 800 Lakeshore Parkway for $39.2 million in 2020. Provender Partners of Newport Beach, California paid $20.2 million for the remaining refrigerated space in April 2021.
