The 8th Congressional District of Alabama was a U.S. congressional district in northwestern Alabama, which elected a representative to the United States House of Representatives. The 8th District was allocated after the 1880 census and was represented almost entirely by Democrats except for two Republican terms and two terms by William Lowe, who represented the Greenback Party.

Following the 1970 census, Alabama's congressional representation was reduced and the 8th District was reapportioned to other districts.
