ASAP

ASAP, formerly called Waitr, is a Lake Charles, Louisiana-based retail and restaurant delivery service which operates via a smartphone app in 1,000 cities, including Birmingham. The company also offers venue-specific food delivery at stadiums and arenas.

Waitr was founded in 2013 by Chris Meaux and has grown by expansion and by acquiring competitors, such as Bite Squad of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The company, which took its present name in 2022, is traded publicly on the NASDAQ exchange. Luxor Capital Group of New York City is one of the company's major shareholders.

ASAP has a local office in the Regus shared office space on the 6th floor of 2100 Southbridge Parkway.
