Abdulla Sawaya (born in Ehle, Lebanon) was the owner of a Lebanese delicatessen and grocery at Gable Square in Glen Iris.
Sawaya worked as a police officer in Lebanon before moving to Birmingham. He served the Lebanese community surrounding St Elias Catholic Church by opening a delicatessen serving traditional foods and supplying grocery items. His son, George Sawaya, helped with the business.
