Air sports at the 2022 World Games
From Bhamwiki
The air sports competition at the 2022 World Games included drone racing and canopy piloting. Canopy piloting was held at Barber Motorsports Park from July 9 through July 12, and the drone racing event held at Protective Stadium on July 9 and July 10. Drone racing was originally to be held at Barber Motorsports Park, but in February 2022 it was announced the competition would instead be held at Protective Stadium.
Canopy piloting has been an event since the 2005 World Games in Duisburg, Germany, and the Birmingham edition marked the fifth time it was included as a regular event at the World Games. The drone racing event was the first for a World Games competition.
