Alabama House District 34

Alabama State House of Representatives, District 34 includes most of Blount County and parts of north Jefferson County.

District 34 is represented by David Standridge, who won a 2012 special election to fill the seat left vacant when Elwyn Thomas was appointed to direct the Alabama Manufactured Housing Commission by Governor Robert Bentley. Standridge ran unopposed in the 2016 Republican primary and general election.
