The Alabama Phoenix Festival was a science, fiction, comic book, and science fan convention which took place on Memorial Day weekend (May 2527, 2012) at the Cahaba Grand Conference Center. The festival was founded by Steve Charleson, Stan Daniel and Tim Stacks in 2011.

The primary goal of the festival was to foster the exchange of creative ideas. The inaugural Alabama Phoenix Festival featured a live performance of H. G. Wells' "War of the Worlds", a "Rock Band" video game contest, a LEGO expo, and a "Magic: The Gathering" tournament. Celebrity guests included Adam Baldwin, Larry Hama, Larry Mainland and Sonya Thompson. Organizers estimated 1,500 to 2,000 attended the 2012 festival.
