American Cyrkus was a band that performed in the 1960s and 1970s, and were regulars at the Boom-Boom Room locations at Eastwood Mall and Five Points West. They recorded a self-produced single at Sound of Birmingham in Midfield.

The band featured vocalists Frankie Harris and Carl Williams with guitarist Ronald Naramore, bassist David Sewell, keyboardist Ray Reach, and drummer Bunky Anderson. Harris, Naramore and Reach incorporated the group as a domestic corporation with $1,000 in capital in July 1971.

That November the group headlined a homecoming dance at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee.
