Avondale Station is the name for a planned redevelopment of four former Avondale Mills workers' cottages on the 100 block of 42nd Street South in East Avondale.

The approximately 1,500 square-foot houses were constructed around 1900 as duplexes, housing two families each.

In 2017 Coby Lake and others, incorporated as Birmingham Properties LLC, purchased and renovated the houses, replacing damaged roofs and porches, and erecting a continuous screen wall to stabilize the slope of the front yards. With their architect, Scott Phillips, they applied for a rezoning to allow for residential, office and retail spaces to be combined. The East Avondale Neighborhood Association voted to support the project, under the conditions that the property keep its residential character and not be used for amplified music. The Birmingham City Council denied the request with a 3-3 vote in April 2018, and the renovated houses were put up for sale.

Later in 2018 real estate agent Blake Seay and developer Jud Dawson announced that they had completed renovating the houses into open-plan 2-bedroom 2.5-bath townhomes. The shared rear courtyard was furnished with an outdoor kitchen, fire pit and seating. Under the name Avondale Station, the houses were to be put on the market for $319,900 each before the end of the year.
