Bagby Elevator Company

Bagby Elevator Company, formerly Bagby Elevator & Electric Co., is a family-owned elevator fabricator, installer and service contractor founded in 1920 by Arthur Bagby Sr. The company's offices are located at 3608 Messer Airport Highway in Birmingham's North Avondale neighborhood.

From at least 1935 to 1953 the company was located at 3115 3rd Avenue South in the Lakeview district. Arthur Bagby III took over ownership in 1988. His son, Hunter Bagby, is the current president.

In 2023 the company purchased its office property from Joseph Saiia.
