Bailey Coats

Bailey Coats (born c. 1997 in Birmingham) is a pop singer and songwriter. She released her first EP of original songs in 2014 and was named one of the "Top 8 Emerging Artists of 2015" by Kings of A&R. She followed that up with an "Honorable Mention" in the Teen category of the 2014 International Songwriting Competition for her song "American Girl".

Coats grew up in Mountain Brook and St Petersburg, Florida. She graduated from Mountain Brook High School and currently attends the University of Alabama, starting off as a chemical engineering major before switching to marketing. She is represented by LUJEN Brands Management of Atlanta, Georgia. She released a video for "American Girl" in 2017, which features Mountain Brook Spartans placekicker Campbell Pickard.

Coats performed the national anthem for the opening of the 2018 U.S. Figure Skating Championships in San Jose, California.
