Barking at the Moon Festival

The Bark Park is a 1½-2 acre dog park located next to Children's Park at Stouts Road and Mary Avenue in Fultondale. It was built by city crews on city-owned land at the urging of Mayor Jim Lowery and the approval of the Fultondale City Council, and opened in May 2011.

The Barking at the Moon Festival takes place at the park each year.

The Fultondale segment of the Five Mile Creek Greenway runs along the north side of the park. The greenway also connects the park to the nearby Black Creek Park.
