"Birmingham Bus Station" is a mournful, 1968 country ballad recorded by Claude King, written by Charlie Daniels, and produced by Bob Johnston. It was released as the B-side of his single, "Parchman Farm Blues". Neither song was included on King's albums.
The song is set in an unspecified, intercity bus station in Birmingham. The singer has been unsuccessful in winning back his wife from her new lover and is waiting with his children to return to Jacksonville. (Exactly which Jacksonville — Alabama, Florida, or another — is unspecified.)
