The Birmingham Chamber Music Society is a non-profit music appreciation group which organizes small-scale classical musical performances for members.

The Society was founded in 1933 by Birmingham Civic Symphonic Orchestra conductor Ottokar Čadek and originally featured performances by members of the orchestra who also served as charter members and officers of the organization. These included Sarah Goff, Dudley Bell, Mary Palmer, Edith Pearson, Helen Cullens, Steve Dill, and Charlotte Hodges.

The group formally incorporated in 1939 with Hodges as president and Palmer, Elizabeth Gussen, Pauline Ringer and Mrs Baxter Goff as trustees.

The Chamber Music Society currently organizes a season of performances at Jane Hollock Brock Recital Hall at Samford University by visiting artists, who also participate in outreach programs at area schools.
