Birmingham Fastener & Supply Inc. is a large privately-owned company headquartered in the Republic Industrial Park at 931 Avenue W Ensley in Thomas. It manufactures and distributes a range of fastening products such as bolts, screws, cable fittings and sealants used in construction, infrastructure, aerospace and defense. In 2023 the company reported $334 million in revenues with a local payroll of 194 employees. Brad Tinney has served as chief executive officer since 2013.

Birmingham Fastener was founded in 1980 by Howard Tinney. It launched a manufacturing division, originally specializing in T-head bolts, in 1984. It expanded with sales and distribution centers in Huntsville in 1985 and Dallas, Texas in 1991. The Huntsville office diversified with the addition of Alabama Aerospace in 1995.

The company constructed a new 150,000 square-foot distribution center in Hanceville in 2002. The company launched ProSouth Fastener in Jacksonville, Florida in 2005. Birmingham Fastener completed an in-house testing laboratory in 2015. It expanded again with new subsidiaries in Houston, Texas; Ankeny, Iowa; and Elmira, New York in 2019.

Beginning in 2020 the company embarked on an acquisition campaign, purchasing Atlanta Rod & Manufacturing of Lavonia, Georgia; Steel City Bolt & Screw of Birmingham; K-T Bolt Manufacturing of Katy, Texas; and Champion Manufacturing of Magnolia, Texas over the next two years. The company continued to expand westward with the acquisition of Pacific Coast Bolt Corp. of Sante Fe Springs, California and the opening of a distribution center in Phoenix, Arizona in 2023.

In 2024 the company constructed a new manufacturing plant in Santiago de Querétaro, Mexico, operating as a wholly-owned subsidiary, Commercial and Aerospace Supply de Mexico (CASM)
