Robert Ellsworth Wood Sr (born October 7, 1919 in Cleveland, Ohio; died August 8, 2014) was the owner of Aeromarine sporting goods.

Wood attended trade schools in Ohio before taking a job as a pattern maker for Pratt Whitney aircraft engines. In the late 1930s, Wood moved to Birmingham to work at his father's Aero Service & Supply Co. He enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and served with the 21st Army Air Corps Base Unit until earning his discharge in December 1945. He then returned home to manage his father's company, taking ownership and changing the name to Aeromarine, to reflect the move into recreational boats and sporting goods, in 1955.

Wood was married to the former Frances Derrick and had four children and nine grandchildren at the time of his death. Wood is buried at Elmwood Cemetery.
