The Bobby Bowden statue is a bronze sculpture depicting former Samford University head football coach Bobby Bowden. It was dedicated on a concrete pedestal outside the entrance to Samford's Seibert Stadium on September 21, 2013. Bowden and his wife, Ann were in attendance and participated in pre-game events before the Bulldogs took on Southeastern Louisiana.
The erection of the statue at Samford followed an abandoned effort by Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex board member Bill Marsh to erect a statue of Bowden outside of the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame.
