Bud Precise

Clyde Samuel "Bud" Precise (born in Scottsboro, Jackson County) is a the senior pastor for the Church of the Reconciler in downtown Birmingham. Since "reitiring" he spent seven years as pastor of the Pilgrim Church, a United Church of Christ congregation before taking over the Methodist mission to the homeless in 2011.

Precise served most of his active ministry in the North Alabama United Methodist Conference. During his career he pastored Trinity United Methodist Church in Homewood and Canterbury United Methodist Church in Mountain Brook. He also served a stint in the Peace Corps.
