C. Jeanenne Bell

C. Jeanenne Bell (born in Birmingham) is a jewelry appraiser, dealer, author and publisher who has appeared on the television program Antiques Roadshow since its first year.

Bell studied architecture and interior design. She became interested in hairwork, jewelry made using locks of hair from loved ones, and began a collection. She earned a graduate gemologist designation from the Gemological Society of America. She completed her first book on antique jewelry for Indiana University and the International Society of Appraisers in 1984.

Bell founded Jewelry Box Antiques in Shawnee, Missouri and Antiques Detectives and its AD Press in Lenexa, Kansas. She debuted her own line of revival jewelry in 1993.

Bell is a member of the Society of Jewelry Historians, the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors, the Hairwork Society, the Alumni Association of the Gemological Institute of America, and the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers. In addition to Antiques Roadshow she has appeared on Treasures in Your Home (PAX-TV), FX Collectibles (FOX), and the Saturday Early Show (CBS).

Bell and her husband Michael Marshall have four children, ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
