Carolyn Burgess Featheringill (born c. 1947 in Huntsville, Madison County) is an attorney and former law professor. She is the widow of entrepreneur Bill Featheringill, who died in 2012.

She completed her undergraduate studies at Randolph-Macon Woman’s College in 1969 and graduated from law school at the University of Virginia. She spent several years practicing with the largest law firm in Alabama. Featheringill left her law practice when she was expecting her daughter Elizabeth and had planned to spend more time raising her family with her husband, Bill. However, a temporary faculty position became available at the Cumberland Law School at Samford University and this soon turned into a full-time position, one that Featheringill held until retiring as a professor of law 24 years later.

Featheringill has also been an active volunteer in her community, serving as chairwoman of the Alabama State Public Affairs Committee and volunteering with the Junior League of Birmingham and the Birmingham Museum of Art. She has been equally involved with her alma mater, Randolph-Macon Woman’s College, serving as alumnae chapter president, district director, and Alumnae Association president. In 2007 she was appointed to the college's Board of Trustees.

Featheringill and her husband were particularly interested in the growth and success of UAB's cardiovascular program. They created the Featheringill Endowed Chair in Cardiac Arrhythmia Research and made significant gifts to the UAB Comprehensive Cardiovascular Center.
