Catherine Sloss Jones (born c. 1953) is president of Sloss Real Estate. She has used her position to push for increased attention to the rehabilitation of historic buildings and commercial districts such as the Center for Regional Planning and Design and Dr Pepper Place. She was also instrumental in directing Sloss' partnership with Integral Properties in the rebuilding of Metropolitan Gardens as the Park Place Apartments mixed-income (Hope VI) project.

Jones is the daughter of A. Page Sloss Jr, granddaughter of Arthur Page Sloss Sr who founded the real estate company, and the great-great granddaughter of James Withers Sloss, the early Birmingham industrialist, railroad man, and land developer. She was born at Hillman Hospital in Birmingham.

Catherine graduated in 1975 from Converse College in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She returned to Birmingham after the death of her grandfather to help in the family's real estate business.

In the 1980s and early 90s her primary focus was the development of the Lakeview district, beginning with 7th Avenue South and later expanding north to Pepper Place. She oversaw the redevelopment of the old Rust Engineering building on 22nd Street South into the Ridge Park office complex. More recently she and her firm have developed One Federal Place and she has contributed to the development of the Hope VI housing at Park Place.

Sloss was chosen as "Woman of the Year" in 2002 by The Birmingham Business Journal. She holds positions on the boards of the Civil Rights Institute, The Birmingham Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, Lakeshore Foundation, Brookwood Hospital, Birmingham Rotary Club, Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame, Region 2020 and Operation New Birmingham. She also serves on the advisory board for the UAB School of Business, the Inner City Council for the Urban Land Insitute and the Ford Foundation's Farmer's Market Advisory Council. She spent two years at Harvard University as a Loeb Fellow and as a Visiting Scholar to the Graduate School of Design.

She was formerly married to Larry Crenshaw, a former president of the Alabama Environmental Council. She has since remarried. Jones was inducted into the Alabama Academy of Honor in 2017.
