Christina Karis
Christina Karis (born Christina Browder c. 1983 in Ohio) is an actress, known for her starring role in Pieces of Easter and appearances in Miles Ahead and Bolden!.
Christina and her older sister were born in Ohio. They were sent to live with a grandmother in Clanton after their parents separated. Their father, who had been stationed at Fort Stewart in Georgia, brought them back to Ohio briefly when he was transferred there, but they returned to finish high school. Christina completed a bachelor's degree in theater arts at Alabama State University in 2006, and then pursued acting studies at Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. After completing her MFA she moved to Los Angeles, California.
Christina earned a few small roles in films and television, and appeared in a television ad for match.com. As Christina Karis she played a lead role in the independent holiday film Pieces of Easter and has landed parts in higher profile films.
