The Cobb Lane Carriage House is a 3,000 square-foot, two story former carriage house constructed in 1898 to house horses and carriages that served a nearby mansion. The building was converted into a clothing store facing 1314 Cobb Lane by Virginia Cobb in the 1940s. Since then it has also been an antique store and professional offices, housing the Donaldson, Guin & Slate law firm. Atomic Pictures film production offices, and Domain Architecture and Construction.

The building was purchased by architect Robert Thompson and his wife Ashley in 2007. He moved his Thompson Architecture firm to the second floor and renovated the ground floor for special event rentals.
