Combat Motors

Combat Motors, formerly Confederate Motorcycles, is a motorcycle manufacturer with offices at 2620 6th Avenue South. The company was founded in 2017 by Ernest Lee, a Florida attorney and investor who helped the former Confederate Motors transition into the all-electric Curtiss Motorcycle Co. and purchased the old branding and legacy inventory and designs.
Lee, an aficionado and regular rider of his Confederate P-51, re-hired many of Confederate's former employees, including Jay Etheridge, Jason Reddick, Landers Sevier, Andrew Reuther, and Dave Hargreaves. They moved into their present offices in early 2020.
In June 2020, in the context of the nationwide protests against racist police violence and Confederate symbols, the company adopted its current name.
Combat Motors continues to sell and service the F-117 Combat Fighter, P-51 Combat Fighter, FA-13 Combat Bomber and B-120 Wraith models introduced by the former Confederate Motors. It has also introduced a line-up of customized Harley Davidson cruisers with modifications inspired by previous Confederate designs. The company plans a new version of the Wraith, as well.
