The Commissary Building is a 6,860 square-foot office building located at 4984 Overton Road on an unincorporated parcel surrounded by Irondale, between Cane Hedge Road and Gumwood Road.

The brick building with a stepped gable and arched openings was constructed in 1921 for the Alabama Iron & Fuel Company's Overton Mine, for use as a company store.

In 2009 Lee Ann Bridges cleaned up and repainted the vacant building as the home of The Commissary design warehouse, which exhibited reclaimed antiques alongside the work of local artists and artisans. In 2011 the property was purchased by Thomas Moore and fully renovated for his Moore Law Group.

A Madison, Michigan investor purchased the building from Moore in 2019.
