Courtyard Oyster Bar

Courtyard Oyster Bar was a seafood restaurant and bar located at 5961 Chalkville Mountain Lane in Trussville. Owner Michael Catanese opened the restaurant in 2016 in the building which was built in 1999 and has housed numerous restaurants since.

Courtyard's liquor license was revoked on May 14, 2019 at a hearing with the Trussville City Council after several instances where the police were called to the location. Catanese closed the restaurant and sued the city for damages in August 2019.
