Daniel Seigel

Daniel Seigel is an operatic baritone and instructor at the Birmingham-Southern College Conservatory.

Seigel is the son of Birmingham-Southern music professor Lester Seigel. He has an undergraduate degree from BSC and a graduate performance diploma from the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, Maryland. He sings locally with Sursum Corda and Opera Birmingham.

In June 2009 Siegel won first prize in the men's voice category of the National Federation of Music Clubs' national competition in Orlando, Florida. The prize of $10,000 is accompanied by two years of related concert bookings.
