Don McNeal

Don McNeal (born May 6, 1958 in Atmore, Escambia County) is a former professional football player.

McNeal played defensive back for the University of Alabama, serving as a team captain for the 1980 Alabama Crimson Tide football team and winning back-to-back national championships under head coach Bear Bryant.

He went on to play for 10 years for the Miami Dolphins of the NFL. He played in two Super Bowls and was twice named the Dolphins' Most Valuable Player.

McNeal was inducted into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2008.
