Donut Chef

Donut Chef was a chain of doughnut shops operated by Ken Flowers and Werner Beiersdoerfer. The first store, at 100 Hampton Drive in Calera, opened in September 2011. Since then, additional stores were opened in Helena, Chelsea and Columbiana. Donut Chef offered doughnuts, fritters, kolaches, cinnamon rolls and beignets.

In 2013 Flowers and Beiersdoerfer were involved in litigation surrounding their former association with Donut Joe's founder Richard Byrd.
