Doodles after April 2011 tornado

Doodles Muffulettas, Po-Boys and More was a Cajun restaurant which operated in Southside and Fultondale. It offered New Orleans-style sandwiches, hamburgers, salads, Cajun rice dishes and seafoods, and desserts. It was owned by Jerry Wayne Harris.

Doodles originally opened in the early 1990s at 715 [[|Richard Arrington Jr Boulevard South|21st Street South]] in Southside. In 1993 he added book and magazine racks and an art display, including some of his own works.

Harris moved the restaurant to 1415 Decatur Highway in Fultondale in 2002.

The restaurant was destroyed during the April 2011 tornado outbreak and continued to operate for a while as an online store selling Cajun spices and herbal products.
