Douglas Inge Moore (died October 6, 2009) was a carpenter, general contractor and sculptor who worked for many years on expanding and improving the Japanese Gardens at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens.

After serving in the U.S. Marine Corps and Coast Guard Moore returned to Birmingham and opened his own contracting business, DMC Inc.

He was a charter member and former president of the Japanese American Society of Alabama, president of the Birmingham Botanical Gardens' Japanese Garden Committee, and co-founder of the Japanese Garden Society. He worked alongside traditional master temple carpenter Kazunori Tago to construct the Toshinan tea-house and associated part of the Japanese Cultural Center in the Japanese Gardens.

Moore died in 2009. He was survived by his wife, the former Susan Pierce and by his son, Michael. The Japanese cultural pavilion at Birmingham Botanical Gardens was renamed for him to honor his long-term contributions.
