East End Memorial Hospital was a non-profit community hospital located at 7916 2nd Avenue South, facing Ruhama Baptist Church in East Lake. It was founded in 1945 in the former Mamie Mell Smith Hall, built in 1927 as a dormitory for Howard College.
The facility moved to Huffman in the 1980s as Medical Center East, and since 2007 has operated as St Vincent's East. The original building continued to house the Medical Center East Family Practice Clinic until 1994. It was converted into the present Lovelady Center in 2005.
