Egan's Bar was a bar and music venue located at 1229 University Boulevard in Tuscaloosa. It opened in 1979 and closed in July 2021.
The bar was known as a cramped and gritty dive, especially intimate for live music. A sign over the door read, "Thick Smoke. Dim Lights. Loud Music. Welcome to Egan’s."
Mike McWhirter bought the bar from long-time operator Bob Weatherly in 2018. He closed it in order to relocate to Texas. Chris Coleman and Mac Maddox took over the lease, remodeled, and reopened as "Unique".
