Elisabeth Chramer
Elisabeth Chramer is a the owner of Laughing Panda Embroidery, and a former pageant winner, having been crowned Miss UAB in 2012 and Miss Birmingham in 2013.
Chramer is the daughter of Paul and Valerie Chramer of Trussville. She played flute at Hewitt-Trussville High School and graduated in 2009. At UAB she majored in political science and broadcast communication with a minor in digital community studies. She participated in the UAB Wind Symphony and Blazer Band. She was also active in UAB's Experiential Learning Scholars Program, the UAB Honors Academy, Alpha Omicron Pi sorority and the University Programs Council. She also taught Zumba classes at the UAB Campus Recreation Center and pursued her own "Passion to Action" community service project.
In the Summer of 2012 Chramer worked as a news intern at WIAT-TV in Birmingham. She previously worked as a design consultant at Divine Design Formalwear and at Chick Fil-A.
