Fero was an 85-seat full-service Italian restaurant located at the Pizitz Food Hall. The concept with its "rustic" menu and open kitchen, was created by Matt Wagman with chef Akhtar Nawab. It was named for the Italian word for "steel", and opened on July 8, 2017.

Roscoe Hall II served as operations manager for Fero, as well as for Choza Tacqueria and The Louis bar, all of which were part of Wagman and Nawab's Fourth Earl Hospitality group. Doug Hesselgesser was chef de cuisine for Fero, and Eric Bennett developed the beverage program.

The interior, which featured stained reclaimed wood, rolled steel, and saddle-leather upholstery, was designed and built by Appleseed Workshop.
