"The home of the Rev. A. D. King, brother of integration leader, Dr. Martin Luther King, is in shambles after it was bombed in Birmingham. The King family was not injured. Negro demonstrators, enraged by the King bombing and another at the Gaston motel rioted. Six buildings were burned during the violence. (AP)" - as published in the Chicago Daily News on May 13, 1963
