First US Bank

First US Bank (FUSB) is a bank operating as a subsidiary of the publicly-traded First US Bancshares Inc.. The bank was originally chartered as First United Security Bank in Thomasville, Clarke County in 1952. The company relocated its headquarters offices to Pump House Plaza on U.S. Highway 280 in Birmingham in 2017. James House is the president and CEO.

Other divisions of the bank's holding company include Acceptance Loan Company Inc. and FUSB Reinsurance Inc.

First US Bank acquired The Peoples Bank of Rose Hill, Virginia in 2018.
