BLOC Global Group, formerly Formation Methods LLC, is a real estate development, real estate services, and professional recruiting business. It was founded in 2003 by Herschell Hamilton, Mike Carpenter and former Morehouse College president Roy Keith Jr. It is headquartered at 1520 7th Avenue North in Fountain Heights and also has an office at 818 Connecticut Avenue Northwest in Washington D.C.

Early on, the firm provided development services for Botanical Place in Mountain Brook, Capri Condominiums in Highland Park, and the Village at Glen Iris Park in Glen Iris. It also provided construction management services for UAB's Hugh Kaul Human Genetics Building.

In 2009 the company was selected as project liaison and coordinator for the design and pre-construction phases of the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex's proposed domed stadium project. It was also involved in construction of Glenbrook at Oxmoor Valley for the Housing Authority of Greater Birmingham

The firm rebranded as BLOC Global in 2011, and brought on Tony Williams as manager of its construction division, just as it entered into a joint venture with Brasfield & Gorrie to carry out the $201 million expansion of Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport.

Before moving to their current building in 2021, BLOC Global Group operated from the 14th floor of the Financial Center at 505 20th Street North.
