Fred Foster (died January 2022), along with his twin brother Ed, operated Foster Brothers Leather, making highly-crafted guitar straps and other articles for select clients, including members of the Rolling Stones.

In 2022 Fred Foster was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. His brother launched a GoFundMe drive to help pay for alternative treatment.
