Genry's Barber Shop is a one-chair 12 x 22-foot barber shop at 5530 1st Avenue North in downtown Woodlawn.

Bud Genry operated his own shop in Forest Park, and later on the ground floor of the Spring Street Fire House at 412 41st Street South in Avondale until 2010.

Genry later relocated to a shotgun house at 4261 3rd Avenue South before accepting an invitation from Dan Sartain to resurrect a barber shop in the historic home of Vincent Oliver's Hippodrome Barber Shop, which he had leased after Oliver's death in 2018. It reopened as Genry's in January 2019. Bonard Hughins painted the new signage.

Genry retired after Sartain earned his license from the Alabama Board of Cosmetology and Barbering. Sartain continued operating the business through the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic, until his death in March 2021, as Dan Sartain's Barber Shop.
