George Aiken Jr

George Aiken Jr (born in Walker County) is a former FBI employee and private investigator. He served as governor for the Alabama District of Kiwanis International in 2010.

Aiken served four years in the U. S. Navy before earning his degree in industrial management at the University of Alabama. While working at U. S. Steel he completed a law degree at the Birmingham School of Law. He then worked for the Federal Bureau of Investigation for 23 years until his mandatory retirement. Afterward he worked in security for Teledyne Brown Engineering in Huntsville for five years, then opened his own George Aiken & Associates private investigators, which he ran for 10 years before retiring.

Aiken became active in the Kiwanis Club in Huntsville, and transferred to the Pell City Kiwanis Club when he returned to the Birmingham area. He served as club president, Division 8 lieutenant governor and on the Alabama District TAG team before being elected Governor.
