George McMillan III

George McMillan III (born c. 1974 in Birmingham) is a chef and restaurateur.

McMillan studied at Jefferson State Community College under George White. He worked as a line chef at Arman's and sous chef at Hot and Hot Fish Club. He then worked as a private chef before partnering with Daniel Briggs in Mountain Brook's Daniel George in 2000.

McMillan sold his interest in the restaurant to Briggs in July 2011 and worked as a caterer and instructor at Culinard before opening FoodBar in Heights Village shopping center in Cahaba Heights in 2013.

McMillan is married to the former Meredith Carlisle. He has served as president of Birmingham Originals.
