Good Friends Chinese & Seafood Restaurant was a fast food restaurant located at 1720 Dennison Avenue in West End.

The restaurant's owner, Chun Hin Ching, was arrested on attempted murder charges after he fired a gun at a customer after she complained of an insect in her egg roll on February 6, 2014. The incident prompted boycotts of the restaurant by neighbors, including one protest which included Birmingham City Councilor Sheila Tyson and former Jefferson County Commissioner Shelia Smoot, both of whom were running against Sandra Little Brown for the Jefferson County Commission District 2 seat in the 2014 election.

On February 17, a sign was placed on the restaurant's door, indicating it was closing. The Birmingham City Council voted unanimously to declare the business a nuisance and revoke its license on March 18.
