The Hewlett Block was a three-story commercial building located on the southwest corner of 1st Avenue North and 20th Street in downtown Birmingham. It was owned by John Boddie.
The building was destroyed when a gas boiler exploded in the basement of the adjoining Metropolitan Hotel on February 23, 1900. The Woodward Building was erected on the site in 1902.
