The Higgins residence is a three bedroom, 3-1/2 bath, two-level home located on a wooded lot in the Crestline area of Mountain Brook. It was designed by architect Fritz Woehle.

The downstairs of the house features an open floor plan that encompasses a central staircase, two fireplaces, a living room area, a "seating area", a separate den, kitchen, formal dining area, and the master bedroom suite. White pickled hardwood floors are found throughout the downstairs accented with Bessemer Gray bricks at the main entry and around both fireplaces.

A large, half circle picture window on the second floor overlooks the circular drive and woods. Upper floor has two bedrooms and a Jack and Jill bathroom. The rear of the house offers a large deck and swimming pool.
