Honor Flight Birmingham

Honor Flight Birmingham is the Birmingham hub of Honor Flight, a national volunteer organization that provides veterans of World War II with free travel to the World War II and Iwo Jima memorials in Washington D.C. Pam Nichols and Amy McDonald organized the Birmingham chapter in 2007. It made its first flight, funded by a gift from Noland Health Services, in 2008. The group also receives support from the American Legion Department of Alabama.

Honor Flight Birmingham's offices are located at 1401 Doug Baker Boulevard near Greystone.
