Hosea Eric Lewis (born c. 1966 in Birmingham) is the owner of Lewis Industries, a longtime officer of the Hillman Neighborhood Association and the Grasselli community, and a candidate for Birmingham City Council District 7 in the 2017 Birmingham municipal election.

Lewis is the youngest child of James and Eldora Lewis. He grew up in Hillman Gardens and graduated from Wenonah High School in 1985. He then accepted a football scholarship to Alabama A&M University, where he completed a bachelor's in sociology with a minor in criminal justice in 1991. After graduating he returned to Birmingham to help care for his parents. From 2001 to 2005 he worked as an inventory control manager for Westwind Technologies in Huntsville, and from 2006 to 2010 he was a loan officer for Gulfstates Mortgage in Birmingham. His company, founded in 2005 works with the Birmingham Land Bank Authority on neighborhood revitalization projects.

Lewis has been a long-time vice-president for his neighborhood association and secretary for the Grasselli community. He has also served as a little league baseball and football coach and commissioner. He was recognized for his community service by the Metro Birmingham NAACP in 2016.

As a candidate for City Council, Lewis has pledged to bring back pride to his district with road improvements and business recruitment, and to partner with community colleges to expand job training programs.
